Sultan of Brunei

While working in Kota Kinabalu Malaysia, as General Manager of Sutera Harbour Resort, I had the pleasure of hosting the Sultan of Brunei & and 1st wife of I think 5 wives We had set up a badmitton match with the local Govenor of Sabah, funny the local audience only clapped when the Sultan scored. What would have happened if they did'nt appluad?
